My fastest lap is a 1m26.2** as well, but it's a bit unreasonable to think that can be sustained in race conditions what with tyre wear and fuel, and anyone competitors who brake at the worst possible time etc. f1 chick, I was just kidding, I think it's great that you've improved, and practice obviously makes people better, for example, I hate the Renault that we had to race last race and it took me time to get used to its apalling oversteer and the fact that heavy braking can easily send you into a spin, anyone else fing that?

That lap I did was on low fuel and new tyres in time trial so you probably won't!

I can't get into the 1:26s still, which is pretty poor.

Its most likely I won't be able to participate in this race, its just that I haven't found the time to do this race so far, even though its been 2 weeks (How time flies eh). But who knows, I probably would be able to, but I'm not holding my breath...

Here we go again, I've only got 4 entries. You can't say I didn't give you enough time.

I'm getting tired of this...it is not worth running this competition unless you are all willing to take part. it only takes 20 mins to do a race. If some of us can do that we all can. if not...well someone else can take over.

Sorry Chris, just didn't have the time. But hey, at least I entered in the first 2 races, which is more than most of the people who've registered on this forum (i.e those who haven't even entered yet this season).
Anyways, its most likely that I won't be participating for a long time. Got work to do, and on top of that, even when I have PS2 time, I'll be spending it on Kingdom Hearts II!!! O yeah, 2 years after the Americans and Japs had their fun with the game, Kingdom Hearts II is finally released in Europe!! Woohooh!!
(Blast!! For some stupid reason I deleted my Kingdom Hearts I save file that had 100% completion on it, guess I'll have to start over and complete 100% on that too-- Actually, already have a save file which, isn't quite near that point, but not very far either...)
And dammit, the only reason I bought a Kingdom Hearts II guide with the game is because they said they were giving away free Kingdom Hearts II magnets with them. Cheap morons ran out of stock!! So guess what, I got a hint guide... Why would I wanna bloomin hint guide when I have the complete guide?! Dammit, I took the hint book anyway, for some reason...

Idea time...would you be more interested in a time trial competition? because this race competition doesn't appear to be interesting or competitive enough for you to enter times...

Oh c'mon man, don't be like that. I just missed one race out of 3, don't say I'm not that interested or don't wanna compete in this race competition. A trial time thing is a good idea, but then again isn't that what the Lap Records archives are for? But I wouldn't say that had enough "depth" to become a championship. You should do a survey, PM/email all of the people who've registered on this forum, on what they want to see in the competition, they can post their suggestions on the forum. If that's ok with you, then I'll definitely voice my opinions on what I think could make the competition more interesting, not that I'm saying this competition is crap (Otherwise I would've never joined in the first place), but y'know, just to add a little bit of spice here and there.
And Kingdom Hearts is an awesome ass-kicking game!! Don't be fooled by the Disney characters, its actually pretty good, and not all that cheesy as Disney would make it look like. Oh Sora & Kairi... Will Riku ever turn away from the darkness...?!

I'm just trying to understand why everyone is dropping out of the championship. Clearly it is because it bores them.

Not to be too pointed, but there's lots of things that I have to do before playing on F1 06 on the ps2
It's not because it's boring, and really there is enough time because there was 2 weeks, but things come up, I was out virtually all of Staurday and Sunday, which I didn't know I was going to be as I'd planned to do my runs then, and then when I came back I fell ill so that's deadline time come and gone
It's just things like that which mean that the time you'd planned to set aside to do the competition disappears
