Now I know I liked the circuit but I didn't think I was that good!

Aaron, a hearty congratulations are in order, what an outstanding time, I set two times in total, within 4 seconds of each other, but at absolute maximum I could only have done a 17 flat, so that's outstanding Well Done

I thought Davido would have beaten me! It's been the only race I haven't made a mistake in. I had doen alot of runs though to get a decent time.

I only finished 2 races, that was the best time I did of the 2.
Please make any suggestions about the competition, and see my last post in the race discussion thread about how the timing of each round will be done. Let me know if thats a problem for whatever reason.

Everything seems fine, although I fear we're gonna struggle to keep 9 people in the championship, and I certainly won't spend the 2 or 3 hours one night I did getting a good time, I must admit I became slightly obsessed that night When you gonna post the details for the first race, this weekend?

Sunday probably. If a week is not enough time, it will have to be 2 per race and just draw the competition out over a longer period of time. We'll have to see.

I think we need to a) limit the attempts, that'll stop people who have loads of time on there hands (like i did then) to run away and
b) either in the same car or in the previous race, the winner does the next race in the worst car.
The only pobrlem with the latter is that if someone misses out a race then what car do they drive!

We've all kinda had a similar idea, I posted mine in the competition suggestions section, I'm in support of the idea, I just think we need to check over and sort out the finer points of this idea, as you said there are some potential problems

I'm quite chuffed that I wasn't last in both to be honest. Some of the times I had seen quoted here made me think I would be miles off the pace. My race was pretty scruffy so to come sixth is not too bad at all!
As for the fastest lap competition, I'm not expecting to do too well there as I've never been good at set-ups. Don't have the patience really.

I just leave it on the normal settings........... on my best lap i was just taking so many risks because i was sideways through the first corner so but for that would have been in the 1m 9s......... Well done Phil on the fastest lap;) I the race of course i made a pitstop and had wear on so that wasnt a true reflection of my Pace i feel:( Anyway well done Aaron fantastic time

I don't like the idea of the winner doing the next race in a worst car, it somewhat ruins the point of the competition, which is to make it fair.
About the number of attempts...2 for a race, as many as you like for time trial. That ok? If you crash thats your problem, if you lose a front wing you have to go in the pits and continue the race. Of course this is relying on your honesty but I don't see why any of you would lie about it.
