that's good, another reply, let's hope we can get enough together to get a decent competition going how did it go by the way, think u've done alright? Not too bad I don't think. Mostly in the 1m:10's apart from the 1st lap and a few scruffy laps after that before I got in a rhythm! Montreal was my 1st race in the F105 comp and I came 3rd so another repeat perfromance won't go a miss!

1m10s, that's an outstanding race pace , I was only in the 1m12s at best, it was much more difficult than the time trial since fuel and tyre wear was off - it took some time getting used to

Were you in the 10's for the time trial?

Yeah, I was in the 10's for the time trial and the 12s/13s for the race It's my first go, so if that's slow, that's fine, I should get better in the future rounds

Just signed up. I'm definitely up for joining onto this, even though I'm struggling a bit with the game on the PSP.
Is there still time to enter this test round, if so I will put in some time on the time trial mode tonight to get a time for that, although I probably won't have time to do the race this time if that's ok?
I'm definitely up for participating in this fully once the real championship starts.

Well my timetrial attempts seem to be giving me low 1:12's at best, so I don't even want to imagine how slow I'd be in race trim, but might give the race a go if I have time, I do have a two hour train journey to spend on it tommorrow. Are most of you using Manual gears cause at the moment that the only thing I can see would help me in gaining any more time round this circuit if I was any good at doing the gears manually.

I use manual gears. But I am on the ps2 version and I have a steering wheel so I don't know if using manual gears on a PSP would help your time. I know it doesn't for me on a PS2 controller!

I use automatic because I don't have a steering wheel, it is slower to use manual if you have a controller, but quicker if you have a steering wheel, I think As for the amount of enteries, I was just going off what cpg89 said about 6 enteries being too few, so I was estimating in the region of 10 would be a good number

Yeah, in F105 we were getting around 6 and that's why it stopped!

Well it stopped because we had 2. Frankly that is pathetic.
We have 8 so far, I'm holding out for a few more. I think I will give it till the end of the week. In the meantime, please think about whether the current rules are ok. if you have any suggestions, add them to the appropriate thread.

I think the rule where we drove the same car was good. Really showed who could get the most out of the car and was the better driver.

Or, this could be complex but I'll suggest it anyway. The out come of this race determines which car you drive for the next race. So say if you come last you get a Super Aguri to drive and if you come 1st you get the Renault. Or to make it more exciting, if you come 1st you have to drive a rubbish car next race. Could be complex I know but just a suggestion!
