Another justification for scrapping the penalties. I was side by side with Button into the second corner in Canada, he was forced to skip the corner and did he get restricted to 100? No. So if it doesn't apply to the AI why should it apply to us?

No, sorry, penalties are staying. We all know how you get penalties so avoiding them should be straight forward.

And please put any suggestions in the stated thread. I have better things to do than search the whole board for things, especially if I have already created a thread for competition suggestions to be added to...

Great work.
I forgot I had turned off my console in disgust after my San Marino race where I didn't finish, so I was back to the Australian race. I finished 6th this time, from 10th, but I was heading for a second place until a chaotic last lap. I got a penalty at the chicane halfway round the lap. I backed up all the cars behind me, to try and hang on to 2nd place. Then at the next corner Montoya overtook me. I tried to get back past but spun, then another car clouted me up the rear. As I crossed the line in 6th, I had no nosecone, a loose wheel and a shaking rear wing.

Bit of a problem with noting down my (not very) fastest lap. The results don't show it at the end of the race.

Another quick point. Sometimes my engine speed is limited to 120 mph after a bit of barging. But the engine stays green on the read out. Has this happend to anyone else?

If anyone can confirm this then I will change the rules. Yeah you do get shown your fastet lap during the race. However with you having to concentrate fully I don't think it's going to be practical to keep noting in down.. On the engine point, this is true. After a tough start with lot's of pushing you can't go beyond 120-130 mph. It doesn't show up as damage on the monitor and it's not a penalty, Good news, i've managed to finish twice, though last both times. The first time I couldn't get down the winners time, so I don't know how fast it was.

I've never had a problem like that with the engine. Have youi tried pitting during the race?
